The Challenge
|
This family was in the process of purchasing a new home. A ranch style home with a full basement, the home had a narrow set of stairs only 37" wide from the upstairs to the downstairs. The son is permanently in a wheelchair, and the family wanted to use the space downstairs for physical therapy, keeping pets, and other activities that the son should participate in.
We were able to provide a slightly customized Garaventa Xpress II so that it would fit in the very narrow staircase, but still accommodate the son's chair. By adding the lift, the family is now able to take advantage of their entire new home!
